When Lynn and
Karen met at last year's festival, they had decided to swap lives,
having had enough of their own. After knowing each other for a year,
they decided that there's no way they would swap with each other.
They found that they are the same woman with different accents.
As Edinburgh approaches, the swapping season is upon us. So will
they swap with each other as promised or
? Come to the show to find
out.
This is The not to be missed comedy show at this year's festival.
Expect the unexpected with this dynamic dup. They are a comedy powerhouse
that keeps the crowds rolling every time.
Lynn Ferguson can presently be heard as the voice of Mac, the Scottish
chicken in this summer's animated blockbuster, "Chicken Run", alongside
Mel Gibson. Lynn is a festival favorite, having won several awards
for both her writing and her acting in previous festivals. Her solo,
"Heart and Sole" was made into a movie. Her other solo Mac was a
hit both in Edinburgh and Melbourne's Comedy Festival. Her sitcom,
"Millport" was a hit on the UK airwaves this past spring. American
audiences know her brother Craig from "The Drew Carey Show".
Karen Loftus' previous show, "It's a Man's, Man's, Man's, Man's
World", was a hit in Edinburgh after a successful tour of the States.
The show was awarded The Critic's Choice by the London Times. She
was the first recipient ever to receive A Tennessee Williams Fellowship,
granted to her for the development of her solo piece, "I'm Not the
Blonde You Think I Am". "Blonde" is currently being developed into
a book. Karen is an international comedian working in The States,
Europe and The Middle East. She can be seen this fall in the indie
film, "Race To Love".
