To Whom It May Concern,
Karen Loftus appeared on the Arkansas State University campus in an untitled stand up routine. She immediately established rapport with the mostly student audience because she took the time before her performance to find out what issues were currently being discussed on campus.
She was energetic,
lively and quite amusing. Her jokes were timely fresh and she
was also quite adept at interactive play with her audience. Edging
on the bawdy, but keeping it well within the appropriate boundaries
for a college crowd, Karen wowed them trough a full 60-minute
laughter marathon.
After her performance, Karen spent some time in the green room answering questions for students and faculty members. She talked about her writing and her work as a comedian. It made a good ending for an enjoyable evening.
Karen was
charming and agreeable in working with our setting and schedule.
The Student Activities Board was pleased to co-sponsor this event
with The Fine Arts Department. It was one of those unique opportunities
for a student organization to interact with an academic department.
We would be delighted to welcome KAREN LOFTUS back to Arkansas State University campus anytime.
